Solid Oak Corner Cupboard by Derek " Lizardman" Slater

A hanging corner cupboard in solid oak with leaded glazed door and the signature carved Lizard of Derek Slater. One of the best known of the " Yorkshire Critters", Slater trained with Alan Grainger Senior and then worked in Groyke, North Yorkshire usinf a Fish logo before joining up with Martin "Lizardman" Dutton in the 1960's and sharing his Lizard logo. Both Slater and Dutton were deaf and dumb. 10360

Acorn Industries was founded in 1958 by Alan's father (Also Alan)in Bradsby North Yorkshire. Grainger Junior retired in 2005. 10359

A Fine American Arts & Crafts Oak Armchair by L & JG Stickley

A good sized oak armchair in good original condition with horizontal back splats and low sprung seat. Legs possibly reduced to allow for rollers. Made by L & JG Stickley circa 1915. "Work of L & JG Stickley" incised stamp to lower back rail. 10415

A Fine Free Standing Cotswold School Oak and Walnut Cupboard

Superb quality craftsman made cupboard with solid oak frame and fielded walnut panels, fitted with shelves and drawers.Exposed construction. Has been attributed to Gordon Russell but could equally be from one the South Cotswold makers such as Waals, Gardiner or Davoll. c.1930. 10382
